Everyone has a story. Writing pieces of it and sharing those pieces is how we make meaning of our lives.
WRITE to BECOME is a three‑session, 90 minute seminar taught by Lyn Shaffer, a former English teacher at both the high school and college levels and the published author of the domestic‑suspense novel Hidden Among Secrets. She brings a clear, supportive approach to helping adults reconnect with their voice and their story.
Across three intentional evenings, participants will:
• Write in real time with guided prompts
• Share their work in a respectful, adult‑only environment
• Receive thoughtful, constructive feedback
• Reconnect with their inner storyteller and the person they are becoming through the act of writing
Whether you’re new to writing or returning after years away, WRITE to BECOME offers the space, structure, and encouragement to finally put your story on the page. Seats are filling up, so Register by CLICKING HERE TODAY.

A Little About Me
Lyn Shaffer is a lifelong educator turned novelist whose love of storytelling began at the bedsides of her children during nighttime tuck-ins and later deepened in the classroom where she spent seventeen years teaching English at the middle school, high school, and college levels. She later served as a principal, district technology administrator, and college professor. After twenty-five years in education, she retired in 2024, returning to her first passion: writing stories that explore the tender complexities of our human connection.
Lyn lives in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, where the region’s layered histories and quiet tensions inspire her work. When she isn’t writing, she’s reading, practicing yoga, painting, or spending cherished time with her family and friends—especially her grandchildren, who remind her daily why stories matter.
